- £20 could answer five calls to ChildLine
- £25 the cost of one hour of an NSPCC Helpline worker's time
- £38 the cost of a call to the NSPCC Helpline that
involves a referral
- £42 covers the cost of counselling a child on ChildLine
- £73 could pay for all the costs associated with one hour
of a volunteer counsellors time
- £180 could pay for a day of a Children's Service
Practitioner on the NSPCC Helpline or a
Supervisor on ChildLine
- £292 could pay for all the costs associated with a volunteer
counsellors daytime shift (4 hours)
- £420 could cover a years Freephone call costs for
one volunteer counsellor
- £907 could pay for a ChildLine supervisor for a week
- £1,600 could pay for the recruitment and training of a
volunteer counsellor
- £3,476 could pay for the support, supervision, and administration
costs associated with a volunteer counsellor over the
course of a year.
