The Hampshire Enchanted ChildLine Ball took place on Saturday 3 October 2009, raising £40,000 for the NSPCC and ChildLine.

Hampshire Enchanted ChildLine Ball A BIG thank you to everyone who attended the Enchanted ChildLine Ball. Your support, along with our many supporters and local businesses has helped us to blow our £30,000 target out of the water!

If you couldn’t make it, here is a snapshot of what you missed...

270 guests helped to raise £40,000 for the Child’s Voice Appeal.

Hosted by Esther Rantzen CBE and with ITN’s Alastair Stewart OBE as compère, the night was full of glitz and glamour. The Diamond Girls, dressed in theatrical butterfly masks sold tickets for the chance to win a £2,500 diamond, while a piece of art by Tony Hart, of Morph and Blue Peter fame, went for £1,900 in the silent auction.

The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, donated a beautiful box set with a signed copy of her children’s book, Tea for Ruby, to the auction and guests were entertained by surprise guests, Britain’s Got Talent finalists, Signature. Queen’s Brian May’s favourite Abba tribute act, The FABBAGIRLS, got everyone up and dancing and guests left with signed copies of Britain’s Got Talent Escala’s first album, donated by the band.
